Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing prompt, professional, and accurate support to customers in a high-volume call environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently resolve inquiries while delivering a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and/or outbound customer calls daily.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, services, billing, orders, or account information.
  • Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining professionalism and empathy.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in internal systems.
  • Follow established procedures, scripts, and service standards.
  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
  • Meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics, including call quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products, services, and policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a high call volume environment (call center or similar setting).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple calls while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications, including CRM systems and Microsoft Office or similar platforms.
  • Ability to type and navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and customer-focused under pressure.

Working Conditions

  • Primarily office or remote-based role.
  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer.
  • Use of headset and phone systems for prolonged periods.
  • Schedule may include shifts, weekends, or holidays based on business needs.
